Argan Oil

Argan oil is a must-have in your beauty routine. Known as the miraculous oil, it is a vegetable oil with an amber color, rich in natural ingredients such as vitamin E, vitamin A, and many antioxidants. It offers numerous benefits for the face, body, and hair. We explain everything about this product, also known as liquid gold!

Due to its multiple properties, argan oil is commonly used as an ingredient in creams, serums, shampoos, or masks. However, we can also incorporate it in its pure form into our beauty routine.

Where does argan oil come from?

It is obtained from the ripe seeds of the argan tree, a species that mainly grows in Morocco and whose scientific name is Argania spinosa. The seeds are cold-pressed in a natural process free from chemicals to obtain pure oil.

What are the benefits of argan oil?

Benefits for skin and hair:

  1. Intense Hydration: Argan oil is rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin E, making it an excellent moisturizer for the skin. When incorporated into creams, it helps maintain well-hydrated skin.
  2. Anti-Aging Action: Thanks to its antioxidant properties, argan oil helps combat free radicals responsible for premature skin aging. Regular use can help reduce signs of aging, such as wrinkles and fine lines.
  3. Skin Repair: The fatty acids present in argan oil promote cell regeneration, thus contributing to the repair of damaged skin tissues.
  4. For Acne: Argan oil soothes the skin and aids in healing. Acne is often the result of oily skin. Since argan oil does not have a lubricating action, it helps the skin regain its natural balance while naturally moisturizing it. Its antioxidant ingredients help repair damaged skin cells. Simply apply a little oil to clean, dry skin in the morning upon waking and in the evening before bed.
  5. Prevention of Stretch Marks: Due to its ability to improve skin elasticity, argan oil is often used to prevent the appearance of stretch marks, especially during pregnancy.
  6. Care for Hands, Feet, and Nails: The softening properties of the oil are ideal for brittle nails, dry hands, and rough skin on your feet. The oil nourishes, moisturizes, and softens the skin while toning the nails. A few drops of oil massaged onto these areas before bedtime are sufficient.
  7. Repair of Damaged Hair: The fatty acids and nutrients in argan oil help repair damaged hair, reducing split ends and improving overall hair health.
  8. Heat Protection: Used in styling products such as hair creams, argan oil provides thermal protection against damage caused by heat from styling tools.
